Saturday Book Review: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot

Run. No, sprint to go get this book. It's a preemptive book review as I have about 60 pages left but I already know it's an amazing book. It's about a woman, Henrietta Lacks who passes away in 1951. Doctors took her cells without her knowledge and they were the first to keep multiplying outside the body. They have since become one of the most important tools in medicine. It is a true story but reads like fiction. Wonderful read.
