Letterpress on the ipad?

LetterMpress is an app currently in development that allows you to create letterpress looking imagery on the ipad (for starters). Cool concept, but not sure how I feel about it. Some very interesting art pieces are being done on mobile devices, but I think there is also something to be said about authenticity and handcrafted artwork. Yes, you still use a machine for letterpress, but I fear that technology will be replacing original ways of doing things and in that process we will lose some crucial things. It's like my struggle with electronic e-readers vs. books. I love the convenience of a book on my phone, but I miss the smell, feel, beautifully designed covers and turning the pages.
